Surprisingly, a number of home-owners in India use architect's services just as a rubber stamp to get the required approval! People some times call architects, ask them to build a couple of sample plans and then send them a message that they don't like the plan and later use those plans anyway.

So we started wondering, why not compile a list of reasons as to why one should hire an architect anyway. A lot of "reads" have been recorded for the article but surprisingly there are not many comments. So is any architect listening here...
