How to Plant Vegetable Plants

Before you begin to plant in you vegetable garden, it’s essential to know how to plant, size of crops, water needs and pest control of the plants. Some vegetables are grown well in rows whereas some are standalone for example carrots are planted in rows while tomatoes are standalone plants. Spinach is grown as raised beds. Cabbage and cauliflower grow at corresponding height and can be planted side by side.

Tomatoes can also be grown with potatoes. If the space is limited in garden you can combine a packet of spinach and carrot seeds. Mix the seeds and sow them in the row. Spinach will grow quickly but carrots need much time to grow. Spinach will grow within 4 to 6 weeks. This scheme can be employed with some other vegetables like Lettuce and Radish can be planted by mixing the seeds.
