Tips for decorating Kids room

Castles, dragons and fairies are written about in books and are captured in the hearts of children everywhere. But they do not have to stay in a child's imagination. Parents can help to make those dreams come true in their child's room. Here are given a few tips to decorate your kids’ room.
Placing Cribs……..The furniture requirement will depend on the age of the child and after a particular age, even the gender of the child will affect this choice. For babies, a crib would be suitable. A crib could be placed in parent’s room but if child’s room is adjacent and easily assessable to parent’s room, this could be kept in child’s room also.

The crib should have sidewalls of slats that do not have a gap of more than a couple of inches so that soft toys could not fall down. One of the sidewalls should be collapsible so that the mattress could be easily changed. The crib should be of a height that allows picking and laying the baby with ease. It should have the possibility of hanging some toys that the baby could be amused with.

Paint your dreamz !!!

Main divisions in paints
Emulsions: These paints dry quickly and are washable, stain resistant and durable. They give smoother finish.
Distempers: These are available in dry and oil-bound varieties. Hence these are more popular for lower budget schemes.
Oil paints: These are available in different finishes. They took longer time to dry and are costlier than other products.

Textured paints: These are also in today’s trend breaking the monotony of the flat wall and make the wall itself a feature element of the space but are recommended in dust free space as texture paints trapped dust easily.

In a highly design oriented interior decoration process there are a couple of other parameters that should be on your watch list right from the word go when you take up your interior decoration project.

Clean
How easy is it to clean? That bulky looking bed or a sofa kissing the floor may look very attractive but the fun won’t last too long if it becomes a hideout for pests and is a great dust collector. Here are a couple of my favorite designs that make maintenance a breeze.

Organising Bedroom Furniture

Put a nightstand with drawers, shelves and a lamp at both sides of the bed for visual balance. Such nightstand provides place for your alarm clock, magazines, books and water. It also allows the couple to have their own reading light in the night.

The following operations are executed in water proofing of basement where space for excavation around basement is limited.

1) The base slab of lean concrete is laid followed by construction of external protective wall. Its internal face is rough plastered. Horizontal damp proofing treatment is carried out.

2) In the same manner as described in above process vertical damp proofing treatment is applied on inside plastered surface of the protective wall.
3) The treatment should be continuous on the wall and the floor.

4) For vertical damp proofing continuous with horizontal a fillet 75 mm ratios of 1:4 cement mortars should be provided at the junction of the slab and outer protective wall.
